Precations:
Calibrate with distilled water before first use and periodically
Clean prism with soft tissue / lint-free cloth only
Do not scratch the prism surface (accuracy will drop)
Avoid testing hot samples directly (let sample cool to near room temp)
Wipe dry after use to prevent residue build-up
Store in the case to avoid dust and damage

Q1. What does 0–32 Brix mean?
It measures sugar concentration from 0% to 32% in solutions (approx. by weight).
Q2. Does this refractometer need a battery?
No. It’s optical and works with normal light.
Q3. How do I calibrate it?
Put a few drops of distilled water on the prism, close the cover, and adjust to 0 Brix using the calibration screw.
Q4. Can I test honey with this?
Only if the honey sample falls within the 0–32 Brix range. Many honey samples require a higher range refractometer.
Q5. Is ATC fully automatic?
ATC helps correct readings for temperature variation, but best results come when the sample is close to room temperature.
